Warranty registration and factory support is only available for BAK Industries products purchased as new through an Authorized BAK Industries dealer only!  Products purchased at discounted rates on Amazon, or auction sites such as Ebay and Craigslist, etc (to name a few), WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY PROVISIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.  BAK Industries is unable to verify whether these products sold through unauthorized dealers are new, used, or refurbished, and as such, we are unfortunately unable to warranty such purchases. We advise using caution when buying through Amazon, Ebay, Craigs List, and other auction sites as you'll be doing so at your own risk.

Please check that your BAK product has been received in good condition.

If your product has been damaged in shipping, a damage report must be reported within 14 calendar days of receiving your item.  If a damaged item received is reported after 14 calendar days, BAK cannot settle any shipping damage dispute.

Please retain all packaging material your BAK product was received in, should UPS have to inspect the item for a claim.  UPS will not settle any claim unless the original packaging can be inspected at the site of where the shipment was received.

If the item you received was drop shipped by BAK for one of our distributors and was received damaged, please contact us or the company from whom you bought the product immediately. 


When your cover arrives to you, please inspect your cover immediately!  If you have received an incorrect item, please contact our customer service department with the information of whom you purchased your product from and we will arrange to have the item picked up and replaced for you.  If there is any problem with your cover, you have 14 days to report shipping damages OR any other problems with your cover.  After this time period has elapsed, you will not be able to return the cover nor obtain refund.

If you have attempted to install your BAK product, or any BAK product has already been installed on your vehicle, BAK will not accept any return.  All BAK items have to be returned unused, in the same packaging in which they were originally received with all labels and packing materials included.

BAK has a 1 year limited warranty on all products and a 2 year limited warranty on BAKFlip HD and F1.  BAK's warranty covers factory caused damage and not damage caused by consumer or by random acts of nature. 

If you decide for whatever reason that you do not want the BAK product you have purchased and it has NOT been installed, you have the option to return the product at your expense.  The conditions for the return are as follows: 

  • You must notify us within 14 calendar days of your cover being delivered to you that you wish to return the cover.
    • We will not accept returns for products that were delivered to the customer outside of the 14 days of product being delivered.
    • Product must be returned in the original packaging.
  • Once you notify us within the 14 calendar day window of your intent to return the product, we will email you an approved RMA# that needs to be clearly marked on the label and box when returning the cover.
    • This email will have detailed instructions for you to return the cover
  • Be aware that you will be charged:
    • the original shipping charge that was incurred to ship the cover to you
    • 20% restocking fee of the the retail price of that product
    • A re-boxing fee of $25.00 for all such items being returned to stock.
  • The total of these charges will be deducted from your purchase amount and you will be refunded the balance. 
  • Insure your return Shipment:  We also recommend that you insure your return shipment for damages as we will not accept nor refund any money for covers and/or other products that are returned damaged.
  • All products received must be returned to the address on the box: 
    • BAK Industries, 720 Jesse St., San Fernando, CA  91340
  • Covers shipped to any other address will not receive credit for their return
  • BAK will not accept any items back without an approved RMA # clearly and visibly marked on both the return label and the box.  Any item returned without an approved RMA # clearly marked on the box will not be accepted. 


All BAK manufactured items are accompanied by installation instructions.  Please follow these directions with precision.  BAK will not be held responsible if installation procedures are not followed accordingly.

Please make sure to never open any BAK products with box cutters or any sharp instruments.  Items scratched during the opening of boxes will not be replaced by BAK. 


We are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction.  If you have any questions regarding installation we are always here to help you.  We have factory technicians available to answer all your questions.  We will always ship your products in a fast and timely manner. 

Any customer who wants to return a BAK product under warranty to you, must obtain an approved RMA # prior to you accepting anything back from your customer.  If a customer returns an item to you without an approved RMA #, BAK will not be obliged to issue any credit on that item. 


In the event a package is damaged in shipping and BAK has used your 3rd Party UPS Account, a claim will be filed with UPS.  The cost of the item will be reimbursed by UPS to BAK and the cost of the shipping will be reimbursed to you by UPS directly.  BAK does not receive credit on shipping if a 3rd party account has been used.  Due to this, if any replacement needs to be sent, BAK will therefore bill your 3rd Party UPS Account for the replacement to be sent out.
